Fernhill Hotel and Golf Club is a pet friendlly hotel that understands pets are part of the family. We have a behaviour code that we would like owners and pets to adhere to in the interests of safety and all of our guests' comfort.
Service animals accompanying persons with disabilities are always welcome.
Pets should not be left unattended in the hotel room.
Pets should be fully trained and appropriately restrained by guests at all times.
Pets should comply with local legislation requirements.
Pets should be kept on a leash when in the hotel or on the hotel property with the exeception of the guest's room.
Pets are not allowed in any of the food and beverage outlets nor the health centre. This exclusion does not apply to guide dogs.
Guests are reponsible for cleaning up after their pet on hotel property.
Any disturbances such as barking must be curtailed to ensure other guests are not inconvenienced.
Guests should contact the housekeeping department to arrange a suitable time for servicing the room.
Guests are responsible for any property damage and/or personal injuries resulting from their pet.
Guests agree to indemnify and hold harmeless the hotel, its owners and its operator from all liability and damage suffered as a result of the guest's pet.
The hotel reserves the right to charge guests' accounts commensurate to the cost of such damages.
