At Fernhill Golf and Country Club we believe that we offer the “best value for golf in Cork”. The golf course is an 18-hole, par 70 course. It is best described as a mature tree lined parkland course, offering a challenge to golfers of all handicaps. The vision for a tree lined, slightly undulating golf course has come to fruition. As a result of excellent design and course management Fernhill Golf is often playable during inclement weather, when many other courses have to close.
There are 12000 indigenous trees planted on the estate, resulting in fairways that are resplendent throughout the year. There are views over the Owenabue Valley through which the Owenabue River flows.
Golf clubs, trolleys and buggies may be hired on site. Golf societies, charity events and visitor groups are welcome during the week and weekends.
The Clubhouse Bar and Restaurant is the perfect 19th hole where good food, friendly staff and a pleasant setting “round off” a perfect day.
